Closing. I just can’t take it anymore.

Lovable Critters will be closing do to the tremendous amounts of spam that the Pligg system lets though.  I was really excited about this site until every spam fighting method that Pligg suggested didn’t work.  It’s ridiculous.

Until further notice, we are closed.

Fighting Spam. Yes I am.

It seems that the most active users lately have been spammers.  They seem to add in their crap where ever they can.  I keep deleting it, then it usually comes back a few days later.  However, I learned how the anti-spam functionality works and am using it!  Now I’m banning domains entirely.  Hopefully this will cut down on some of the spam.  No, it can’t all go away but every effort helps.

Now, if I could only get some regular users to signup and submit their pet sites. :)

Good news, the registration issues found earlier this morning have been fixed. :)

Site Registration Down

It appears that there is a bug in the registration process for LovableCritters.com. We’re looking into it and will get it fixed ASAP.

This could be why we’re not getting any new users. :(

To get things started off, I thought I’d post an unhappy Christmas cat!

Now, can you top that?! :)

Leopards Invade the US!

It was just about 6pm on Friday when Leopards started invading. First at the malls, then in homes across America! Was it a threat? No, it was very welcome.

You see, it wasn’t the animal, but a new operating system (10.5) for Apple computers. :)

Now, I know this isn’t a ‘pet’ post but I got my Leopard on Friday and he’s awesome.  With his cool new features, speedy response time and time machine, he’s one cool cat.

Just a little Monday fun for everyone!

Ohh and if you haven’t seen the cutest chipmunk picture posted over the weekend, you gotta check him out.
